The Debt of Love versus Monetary Debt

I was just sharing on Facebook, with someone who wrote in response to an OP there :

"While you all are taking in these so-called 'families', just want to remind you there are over 50,000 homeless vets out there, and more American families that are homeless. We can't even take care of our own. Until we do, they need to go to a Muslim country if they are really fleeing poverty. Saudi Arabia was set up to take millions, but not a single one is there. You have to admit, it's fishy. I'm all for compassion, but it seems our compassion is misplaced."

So I responded with my thoughts at the moment, and something I personally have learned and had a change of mind about.. as follows:

and we will never have peace on earth.. at all.

Just what would happen to America today, if all these other countries said, we are going to take care of our own, and screw you guys,... this chart shows how much America owes other countries right now.. not everyone is in debt to us.. we are up to our own necks in owing others..
I am reminded of what Paul did write, when he said, "owe no debt to anyone.... but the debt of love."

...maybe one day we will all leave the love of money that buys power, and exchange it for the POWER OF LOVE.."
